Introduction
The Joytime Blue Flower Scholarship exists to encourage and uplift young women who faithfully live out their Christian convictions—with courage, compassion, and integrity—wherever God has placed them. Awarded annually, this scholarship recognizes a female high school senior who shows a sincere love for the Lord and consistently reflects her faith in both school and the wider community. Whether through leadership, service, kindness, or steady quiet witness, the recipient seeks to honor God in daily life.

The blue flower has long represented hope, joy, and faith in difficult seasons. This award honors young women who choose joy and step confidently into the next stage of their God-given calling.

Eligibility and Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
- Be female and have lived in North Carolina for at least one year before submitting the application.
- Be a senior at a North Carolina high school.
- Have been accepted for full-time enrollment in a college degree program.
- Be an active member of a Christ-centered church.
- Affirm and agree to live according to the Joytime Ministries Statement of Faith (see below).
- Demonstrate high moral character and a commitment to family, church, and community.
- Maintain consistent academic performance with a cumulative GPA greater than 2.0.
- Display a servant’s heart through service in school and community activities.

Award Details
- Amount: one-time scholarship of $2,500.
- Nonrenewable: the award is a single disbursement and cannot be renewed.
- The Joytime committee reserves the right to withhold an award in any given year.
- Recipients must be enrolled full-time in a college degree program.
- Scholarship funds will be mailed to the recipient’s home address in August 2026 after the scholarship office receives proof of Fall 2026 college registration.

- Selected top candidates will be asked to participate in a virtual interview with the Joytime Blue Flower Scholarship Committee.
- Application deadline: March 31, 2026, by 5:00 PM.

Joytime Ministries Statement of Faith
1. There is one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2. The Old and New Testament Scriptures are God-breathed and serve as the sole, sufficient, authoritative guide for saving knowledge, faith, and obedience.
3. Humanity was created in God’s image but fell into sin through disobedience. Because of our sinful nature, people cannot redeem themselves and face eternal separation from God unless they trust in Jesus Christ.
4. Jesus Christ is the eternal Son and the second person of the Trinity. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He perfectly revealed and fulfilled the will of God, took on human nature without sin, was crucified, buried, rose on the third day, ascended to the Father, and now sits at God’s right hand where He intercedes for believers.
5. The Holy Spirit is fully divine, glorifies Jesus Christ, convicts people of sin, righteousness, and judgment, leads them to the Savior, and renews and restores the heart.
6. Salvation is freely offered to all who confess and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, trusting in Him alone for justification and eternal life. Those who receive Christ are sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
7. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church. Christians are called to participate in local churches, each of which is responsible for maintaining order, carrying out ministry, worship, and practicing biblical discipline.
