Intro
Earn up to $10,000 toward education expenses by deepening your understanding of the Constitution. Awards may be applied to tuition at private high schools, colleges, universities, or trade schools.
Overview
Students complete free online constitutional courses provided by Hillsdale College. After finishing the required coursework and obtaining Certificates of Completion, submit an online application for the FFROA Scholarship.
Award levels and course requirements
- $2,000 or $3,000 award: Successfully finish both of these Hillsdale College courses:
- Introduction to the Constitution
- Constitution 101: The Meaning and History of the Constitution
Download the Certificates of Completion for each course and include them with your application.
- $5,000 or $10,000 award: Successfully finish the two courses above plus one additional Hillsdale College course from this list:
- The U.S. Supreme Court
- The Federalist Papers
- The Presidency and the Constitution
- Congress: How it Worked and Why It Doesn't
- Constitution 201: The Progressive Rejection of the Founding and the Rise of Bureaucratic Despotism
Download and save Certificates of Completion for every required course and upload them with your application.
Application requirements
All Certificates of Completion must be uploaded to the online application prior to the deadline. Applications that are missing required certificates or otherwise incomplete will not be considered.
