Trapshooting Hall of Fame College Scholarships

Intro
The Trapshooting Hall of Fame is awarding seven scholarships this year: five awards of $5,000 each and two awards of $1,000 each. The five $5,000 scholarships are paid over a four-year period; the two $1,000 scholarships are one-time awards. Eligible applicants are graduating high school seniors who are active members of the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) and who will be enrolled full time at an accredited college or university. Recipients of a multi-year (four-year) scholarship must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale to retain ongoing eligibility.
Note: The two $1,000 scholarships are reserved for graduating seniors who demonstrate financial need and who reside in Wyoming or Idaho.
Eligibility (must meet all)
- Graduating high school senior.
- Active member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA).
- Enrolled in, or in the process of enrolling in, an accredited college or university by the fall following graduation; full-time enrollment required.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- No immediate family relationship with any trustee or officer of the Trapshooting Hall of Fame.
Application requirements (follow exactly)
Applications that do not follow these instructions may not be reviewed.
- Complete the Scholarship Application in full. Applications must be typed and signed by the applicant. Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
- Submit a short statement (maximum 100 words) describing your financial need.
- Include a copy of your high school transcript showing at minimum first-semester senior-year grades and the cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. An unofficial transcript is acceptable.
- Provide copies of SAT and/or ACT score reports.
- Attach a signed letter of recommendation from one of the following: your high school guidance counselor, your State ATA Delegate, or a certified instructor.
- Include a summary of your trapshooting experience and accomplishments (years participated, major wins, records, etc.).

Failure to comply with the eligibility rules or application instructions may result in disqualification.
