Montana CattleWomen Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Montana CattleWomen Inc.
Intro
Montana CattleWomen are active across the state promoting beef through community outreach and education. Their efforts include donating beef to senior centers, providing meals at trade shows and other public events, welcoming students to ranches and finishing visits with a cheeseburger, and offering beef samples prepared from recipes developed with beef check‑off funds.
Promotional Funding
If your local CattleWomen’s group needs financial assistance for a beef promotion or outreach event, please contact Vikki Taylor at vikkitaylor1961@gmail.com.
Beef Education (Free resources for teachers and members)
The Montana CattleWomen provide a range of no‑cost educational materials and programs for teachers and CattleWomen members. Available resources cover agriculture, beef production and lifestyle, and consumer skills such as selecting and preparing beef. These programs are supported by the Montana Beef Checkoff and by local organization fundraising.
Some resources are available as downloadable materials; other programs can be presented in classrooms by a visiting presenter when available. To request materials or arrange a presenter, contact Corey Taylor at mtcwbeefed@gmail.com and she will help coordinate what you need.
