Introduction
The Akerson Family Foundation (AFF) Scholarship is a renewable award for up to four years, with a maximum total value of $50,000 per student. Each year AFF selects a group of first-generation, college-bound high school seniors from designated Washington, D.C. area public school systems who show strong academics, demonstrated financial need, and meaningful school or community involvement.
