Eligibility
- Open to all college students, including international students. Awards are available to, but not limited to, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and their dependents.
Application requirements by award type
Undergraduate
- Completed online application form, including a personal statement.
- Two (2) letters of recommendation dated within the current application year.
- Official transcript(s) from every college attended showing cumulative GPA (scan and attach).
- Financial-need awards only: a financial need analysis.
- THRIVE (GAP) applicants only: a copy of the tuition bill demonstrating less than $1,000 owed...

The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) presents an annual National Sportsmanship Award to a student-rider. Candidates may be any active IEA rider in grades 4–12.
Eligibility
Only riders who received a Sportsmanship Award at an IEA local, regional, or zone show during the school year are eligible. Those local awardees receive an IEA Sportsmanship patch and will be invited to submit an application for the national award.
